After Lab × Kai & Sunny
Colour, line, movement
For After Essentials, British artist Kai Clements (aka Kai & Sunny) showcases his signature style of fluid lines and vibrant colour palettes. A piece conceived as a landscape, where colour, movement and light become wearable art.

“I’m fascinated by the power of the natural world, and by exploring those precious unseen moments — the frequencies within nature. The lines within the works push and pull against one another, as if caught in a state of flux, while others flow freely and exude energy. Through colour, light, and movement, my aim is to immerse the viewer within the forces of nature and transport them on a journey.”

The poncho as a landscape of lines
Colour, movement, energy
For this After Lab poncho, Kai & Sunny haven’t simply printed a static image: they’ve created a landscape. With lines that push and pull, a vibrant colour palette and energy that flows, the design comes to life on the shoulder, in the light of the seaside, and in the rhythm of everyday life.
A wearable work of art
A true collaboration, designed for the beach and the street. With every step, the lines are redrawn, the colours respond to one another. The poncho becomes a moving canvas: at once a practical item, a visual signature and a fragment of a contemporary artwork.
